Hello! I am an aspiring photographer who graduated from Cambridge School of Art two summers ago, now living in the big smoke (London), attempting to break my way into the world of paid photography! Being more of an creative photogrpaher, I like to create projects and slowly build them into a body of work. I'm willing to take on commissions, so feel free to message me with any ideas!

Wickham Bishops / River Blackwater railway Viaduct

This is the last wooden train viaduct in the UK, situated in Wickham Bishops it is tucked away behind a beautiful house and cottages.  I found an image of the rail line in the 1900's.

Maldon had long been an important port for the movement of goods to and from the market town of Braintree  The port had suffered loss of business to the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation, a canal that was opened in 1796 to serve the County town of Chelmsford.

The line closed for passenger traffic on 7th September 1964 but continued to be used for freight traffic until 1966 when it was abandoned. Following closure, approximately half a mile of the branch from Witham station toward Maldon was used as a siding serving an industrial area for delivery of steel by railway, this section closed in the early 1980s after a rail strike and is now a cycle/walkway.

A trip to the Greenhouses

Today I went to a Fushia Garden Centre near Maldon, Essex. They had a few greenhouses with other types of flower as well. Was a nice little trip in the country. Taken on my Canon IXUS 130.

Portraits in the Cemetery

 Lindsay

Here are a couple of my most recent portraits, they were taken in a cemetery in Stoke Newington.  I hardly ever take portraits, so decided to come up with a possible idea for a series...  The search is on for my next victim/model!

My disposable Cyprus

I went on holiday at the beginning of the year to my families second home - Paralimni, Cyprus.  I decided to take a disposable camera because I enjoyed the freedom that comes with disposable cameras, the instancy of the click click of the shutter, almost digital in the way you can get through a film of 28+ photos in a day, but with the excitment of not knowing how the pictures look until you get the film processed... It only took me nearly a month to get round to scanning these in, and I'm so happy to see them, more so now than if I new what they were on a digital camera!!
